So if you're anything like me, then you love a good pair of sweatpants and a really comfy, slightly oversized, sweatshirt. I mean let's be honest we all have those lazy days when we do not want to put an ounce of effort into our outfit. To be honest that's me about six out of the seven days during the week. I think finding a really good sweatpants, sweatshirt matching set is the best bet. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, it can literally be your sweats from years ago that you just love and can't seem to get rid of. What I did below was pair this really cute maroon Twelve Jewels sweatsuit matching set, which comes in multiple colors, with a quilted Chanel backpack in a mauve/beige color, as well as a pair of heeled lace up booties in the most perfect shade of mauve. If I were to wear this outfit I would literally have a no makeup day and most likely throw my hair into a messy bun. When people see this kind of outfit they can't help but fall in love. The best part about it is that it took little, to no time at all to put together!
For fall and winter boots are a basic fashion necessity. Whether you are into chelsea boots, ankle boots, knee length boots, thigh high boots, flat boots, heeled boots, all it comes down to, simply enough, is who you are, and what you like! I am personally partial to boots as a whole. I think for the breezier, colder seasons they can make or break an outfit. I know for somebody like me who has quite the expensive taste, I will look at a pair of designer shoes and dream of one day wearing the hell out them! Nowadays though it's so easy to get your hands on a pair of shoes that not only look great but feel great, and last you such a long time. I mean isn't that the ultimate goal? To spend your hard earned money on fashion that lasts you a lifetime! I know when it comes to my shoes that that is, without a doubt, the ultimate goal. This season I have fallen in love, in particular, with designers who have put out these combat-style boots, with thick bottoms and interesting little details. They almost have this goth vibe that intrigues the hell out of me and makes me wonder where can I get my hands on a pair. But then I take a look at the price tags and reality hits me... My wallet just isn't that fat! So I thought why don't I look for cheaper alternatives that are just as cute and get me my money's worth. So... That's exactly what I did!
Let me start off by stating that I simply love this outfit. I mean let's be honest... It's definitely not everybody's cup of tea. I think we all, as fashion fans, can appreciate the edginess and individuality of it though. I like how it's eclectic in its own way. I also like how it's bold and makes a statement without it having to be colorful or have certain pieces that stand out more than others. Some people will look at this and simply say it's all black... Where's the fun in that? I personally look at it and notice the different textiles and see how each piece brings its own flair! You have the simplicity of the top combined with the complexity of the leather pants. As well as the patent leather clutch paired with the suede pointed toe pumps. Every item carries its own weight and serves its own purpose to bring this outfit to life!
